No this blog isn’t one of those dead blogs that you see and always wonder what happened to the author.

I just wanted to step back and take a brak from blogging much for a while so while my main blog kept going, the rest of these got the chance to have a bit of a break. In the end it went on longer than i expected but it was what was needed. I feel blog refreshed and you will see more updates here in the future

I am excited to announce that my latest blog is off the ground. It took off a little quicker than i expected with a link in from an outside blog but luckily i can type fast and had most of my first posts written already!

So whats it about

Personal Blog Income is designed to fill the relative void of how a personal blogger can make money blogging. You may never be able to quit your day job but there is no reason that you can’t make your blogging a part time job. Most months i make in excess of a thousand dollars from on my personal blogs and that figure is only rising every month.

This blog is intended as an extension of my blogging and will show personal bloggers like myself how to make money. Its never going to cost you and how much you decide to do is up to you

So thats it, Personal Blog Income is now live and i am looking forward to the new challenges it will bring

This time next week I will have finished my first week back at work after over a month of leave. I can’t believe how fast the time has flown and i had high plans to get a lot of other things done that i haven’t managed to achieve.

What else was i going to do? I was going to go away camping, thats not going to happen now!

I called into work to collect something i needed from my desk and half of my old team was there two hours after knock off working flat out to get the work done. Some things don’t change as depressing as it might sound and i have after having had time to reflect on what is happening, never will. And yet i go back

I don’t know about you but high up on my list of pet hates would have to be people talking in movies. In fact one of the few things ranked higher than that is people talking in movies and repeating everything funny. It hapens mainly when someone says soemthing funny, a kind of joke echo.

After watching this clip i have realised that there is a solution, I need Jedi mind powers.

I have some news about this and my other blogs that i thought i should announce. I started blogigng for profit in August last year and at the time it was fun seeing how much i could make but what ever i did make was just pocket money, nothing too serious.

Since August of last year I have been making an increasing amount of money to the point that its become a concern, i am worrying about having to declare the income and the whole situation has started causing stress and sleepless nights. In short it started to decrease the fun value of blogging.

The good thing about sleepless nights is that you get time to think and i have been mulling over an alternative situation and what to do about the whole situation. After some soul searching and careful consideration i have decided to transfer ownership to an exciting new Australian company specialising in web publishing and specifically blog publishing and in lieu of financial compensation i have taken shares in the company.

Now as part of the deal i have agreed to remain as author of the blogs i write now and regular readers should not experience any distruption to normal, or what qualifies as normal around this place anyway. Same stuff as always but its just that i will just work here which will hopefully simplify the whole situation.

Oh and before you panic. I own the company. I am the only shareholder. Had you worried!

While i used to do blogging for the love of it (and to be honest still do), i also discovered a happy side effect of successful blogging, money. I’ll be honest that i do not make mad cash and blogging is never going to be something that i will be able to quit my day job for, its never the less providing a revenue stream that is paying the blogging bills as well as some stuff that i need (like new monitor, web hosting etc). At some point i will do a blog on how to make money blogging but that is in the future a long way off. This blog is going to be providing further space for me to post and to make money in the not too distant future.
